An interesting presentation.  I don&#039;t know that I&#039;ve noticed the problem as strongly as he has, but I have noticed it.

In some ways the web is like a country or city without enforced laws for advertisements.  I was in Bulgaria for a couple of years and there are posters everywhere.  They are glued to telephone poles, to bus stations, to walls along roads, etc...and it looks very junky and &quot;polluted.&quot;

The most difficult obstacle to overcome though is the economic one.  How to persuade people to police their sites if they already generate revenue with spam.  It reminds me of Morgan Freeman mentioning that pirated videos will never go away as long as it is easier to download it illegally than buy it legally.  Obviously an uphill battle but at least an honest take on what needs to be done.</description>
